jewel box: workshop — i magnets
notes:

The i magnet workshop finds you exploring the lighter side of your creative self. Magnets are most commonly found on our refrigerators, holding snap-shots and grocery lists. We often get them as freebies and although they are useful they are usually poorly designed and advertise a product or service we have no interest in. With a little imagination and tools in your mother i
junk box, you can transform these lifeless eyesores into something that is personal, expressive and fun! The making of your i magnet insists a light heart because being silly and laughing is an essential part of being creative. If we allow ourselves to have fun and be foolish we can discover a part of ourselves that is child-like — and awakening the child within is an important part of exploring your creative self. So, don’t take your little magnets too seriously and laugh as you gather with the other moms in your circle to explore this colorful side of the woman in you!

Need some ideas? — Cut up photos and add your favorite fabric. Draw wings to give yourself some extra flight. Add wire for legs. Color your eyes. Use your real hair!
